Sound Therapy to support relaxation, nervous system regulation, and emotional grounding.

Sound Therapy

About the Session

Kirsten’s sound therapy sessions offer a gentle, immersive experience using sound and vibration to support relaxation, nervous system regulation, and emotional grounding. Sessions may include instruments such as singing bowls, chimes, and other therapeutic sound tools, and are designed to create a calm, supportive environment.

Sound therapy is not a medical treatment and is intended as a complementary wellbeing practice.

Can I Take Part?

Sound therapy is generally safe for many people, however it is not suitable for everyone.

Not suitable for:

  • Individuals in the first trimester of pregnancy

  • People with pacemakers or other implanted medical devices

  • Those with serious heart conditions

  • Individuals experiencing serious or acute mental health difficulties

  • Those who may be affected by sound-induced epilepsy

If you have any concerns or are unsure whether sound therapy is suitable for you, please contact Kirstin Green (on greensholistictherapies.co.uk) before booking or attending the session.

Mats will be provided, but please bring your own blanket and pillow.

Book Your Space

We’ll be offering one complimentary taster sound therapy session, open to everyone.
This is our way of making space for rest and connection, especially knowing that January can be a financially difficult time for many.

Following the taster, our first full session will be available at an introductory price of £16.

Whether you’re curious, in need of deep rest, or simply want to try something gentle and grounding, you’re warmly invited to join us.

About Kirsten

Kirsten is a qualified massage and holistic therapist based in Leith, Edinburgh, with over 14 years of experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds.

Her practice is grounded in a holistic approach, recognising the connection between the body, nervous system, and emotional wellbeing. Alongside sound therapy, Kirsten works with a range of complementary modalities, including myofascial release, massage, Reiki, and self-care–focused bodywork practices.

Kirsten has been an advanced myofascial release practitioner for over 11 years, which continues to inform her gentle, client-led approach. She is particularly passionate about helping people move away from “no pain, no gain” narratives and towards supportive, restorative forms of care that encourage the body to do its own work.

She believes that everyone is an individual, and sessions are always adapted to what a person brings on the day.
